Potts Headed West Next Season to Play for CSUN

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern sophomore Addison Potts will be making a 2,500 mile journey cross country next season after the Bucs guard signed with Cal State Northridge on National Signing Day in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

Potts has played in eight games for the Bucs this season averaging 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.  Her best effort as a Buc thus far came opening weekend when she scored 9 points and had 3 rebounds in an FSW win over Southern Crescent Tech.

Potts transferred to FSW this season after suiting up her freshman season at Purdue University where she saw action in five games for the Boilermakers.

Potts will join a CSUN squad who currently sits at 2-6 on the year after opening the season with wins over Utah State and Seattle.

Potts is the sixth Buccaneer to sign at the NCAA Division I level in the past two seasons joining Macarena Retamales (Florida Gulf Coast), Jayla Murray (Wichita State), Blessing King (Morehead State), Natalia Tondi (Virginia Commonwealth) and Violette Skipworth (Nicholls State).

Potts and the Bucs are back in action tonight in Suncoast Credit Union Arena when they host Indian River in a battle for first place in the Citrus Conference standings beginning at 5:00 PM.
