April Madness? NJCAA Basketball National Tournaments Postponed Due to COVID-19
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Just three days before the scheduled start of the 2020 NJCAA National Basketball Tournaments, the NJCAA has announced that the tournaments will be postponed due to ongoing concerns about COVID-19.  The tournaments will attempt to be played beginning April 20th in Hutchinson, Kansas (Men's) and Lubbock, Texas (Women's).

In a release Thursday afternoon, the NJCAA said "In light of recent developments regarding COVID-19, the NJCAA has made the decision to postpone national championship events for the upcoming DI and DII men's and women's basketball tournaments."

The FSW Men are a #6 seed for the tournament and have a first round bye before taking on the winner of the Colby/Monroe game in the second round.  Before Thursday's postponement, Monroe had indicated that they would be unable to travel to the tournament due to an imposed quarantine in New Rochelle, New York, where the Mustangs are located.

The FSW Women are the #10 seed and are scheduled to take on #23 Murray State (Ok) in the first round of their tournament.

As of this time, all other FSW Athletic events are on track to be played as scheduled.  Stay tuned to the Bucs on social media @FSWBucs or online at FSWBucs.com for more information on this rapidly changing situation.
