Poot begins her first season on the Bucs bench after a four year playing career at FSW that saw her win three NJCAA National Championships and be named an All-American in three consecutive seasons. 

Poot holds nearly every FSW offensive record in the book after her four year career with the Bucs including hits (229), home runs (55), RBIs (227), runs (188), and doubles (44).  She began her FSW career in 2020 on a loaded Bucs squad that went 23-2 before the Covid shutdown.  All she did the next three years was lead FSW to National Championships numbers one, two and three while earning All-American honors in each season. In 2021 she slugged .810, cranking 17 home runs and driving in 58 to earn 3^rd Team NJCAA and 2^nd Team NFCA All-American accolades.  In the Bucs back to back run in 2022 she hit a career high .433 with 17 doubles, 14 home runs, and an eye popping 73 RBIs to earn 2^nd Team NJCAA and NFCA All-American honors.  She capped her Buccaneers career in 2023 with title number three and did it in storybook fashion, slugging .889 with 18 home runs and 62 RBIs including popping three home runs in FSW's National Championship game win over Northwest Florida.

She joins a coaching staff that helped lead her and the Bucs to a 182-17 record during her FSW career.
