Bucs Down One Spot to #4 in Week Seven Rankings

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers dropped one spot in the NJCAA Top 20 Rankings on Monday, but continued their streak of remaining in the top five as they checked in at #4 in the week seven poll. 

The Bucs went 5-1 last week, sweeping doubleheaders with St. Petersburg and Seminole State while splitting with Daytona State on the road on Saturday to move to 39-5 on the year.

McLennan and Northwest Florida remained at the top of the rankings this week with FSW and Indian River swapping places at #3 and #4 and Temple moving back into the top five at #5. The Bucs were one of six FCSAA teams in the poll as joining themselves, Northwest Florida and Indian River was Central Florida at #8, Gulf Coast at #12, and Santa Fe at #14. 

The Bucs are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Bradenton for a Citrus Conference doubleheader against State College of Florida before returning home for a pair of Top 20 matchups with #8 Central Florida on Thursday and #14 Santa Fe on Saturday at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers.
