CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained in the NJCAA Top 25 Rankings for the eighth straight week this week, earning a pair of wins to improve to 21-6 on the year which was good for #24 once again in the rankings.
The Bucs put together a pair of home blowout wins this week, first hammering St. Petersburg 75-46 and following that up with a dominating 79-57 win over Santa Fe to pick up wins number 20 and 21 on the season.
For the first time all season, there was not an FCSAA member in the Top 5 as Barton takes over the top spot and is followed by South Plains, Triton, Salt Lake, and Vincennes. The Bucs are one of five teams from the Sunshine State in the poll as they were joined by #7 Daytona State, #9 Northwest Florida, #10 Chipola, and #14 Eastern Florida.
FSW will take the court again on Wednesday when they travel to South Florida to take on Miami Dade in a 7:30 PM tip.
