CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers climbed one spot in the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Top 25 Rankings this week, landing at #24 in the Week 12 poll.
FSW sits at 19-6 on the season after a pair of Citrus Conference wins last week took them to 9-2 in league play. Tuesday the Bucs went on the road to Tampa where they walked away with a 78-64 win over Hillsborough in league action before returning home for an 88-72 romp of Polk State for their 19th win of the season.
The top three in the poll remained the same this week with South Plains, Barton, and Daytona State continuing to pace the pack while Triton moved up one spot to #4 and Mineral Area climbed back in the top five after a one week hiatus. The Bucs are one of five FCSAA squads in the poll with Daytona leading the way at #3, Northwest Florida and Chipola packed together at #10 and #11, and Eastern Florida checking in at #16.
The Bucs will be in search of their 20th win of the season on Wednesday when they are home against St. Petersburg in a 7 PM tip at Suncoast Arena.
