Bucs Hold Strong at #20 In National Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers held their spot at #20 in the NJCAA National Rankings released on Monday, marking the fourth straight week the Bucs find themselves in the Top 25.

FSW ran their win streak to nine last week, improving their record to 16-4 on the year. The Bucs went on the road for an 87-76 win over Santa Fe on Tuesday and backed that up with a dominating 82-61 home win over old Southern Conference rival Miami Dade on Saturday.

The top three in the poll remained the same with undefeated South Plains and Mineral Area leading the way and Barton holding steady at #3.  FCSAA members Daytona State and Northwest Florida both moved up a spot to #4 and #5 to round out the top five. Along with FSW, Daytona State, and Northwest Florida, the Sunshine State was also represented by #9 Chipola and #18 Eastern Florida.

The Citrus Conference leading Bucs have a tough week ahead as they will look to slow down the Nation's leading scorer Mostapha El Moutaouakkil and Indian River on Wednesday at home in Suncoast Arena before going on the road for a Top 25 matchup with #4 Daytona State on Saturday.
