Bucs Drop to #17 in NJCAA Top 25
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- A tough week on the court led to a tough week in the rankings for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers as after climbing back up into the Top 10 of the NJCAA National Rankings last week, the Bucs were back out when Monday's poll came out as a pair of losses cost FSW seven spots to #17 in the week 13 rankings.

The Bucs dropped two games by a combined six points last week, falling 83-78 on the road at #2 Indian River before being shocked 72-71 in the closing seconds at home against Hillsborough Saturday.  FSW dropped to 19-5 on the year with the losses with three of the five defeats coming in the last two weeks.

Salt Lake and Indian River led the poll for the second straight week with John A. Logan, Kilgore, and Dodge City all moving up a spot to round out the top five. Chipola was the biggest winner in week 13, shooting up six spots to #7 with their win over Northwest Florida who dropped from #3 all the way down to #11 after back to back losses.

The Bucs are back in action Wednesday when their trilogy with #2 Indian River culminates in Fort Pierce with tip scheduled for 7:30 PM.
