FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers raced out to a 16 point first half advantage and never looked back Monday night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena, shooting 52% from the floor in a 93-65 blowout win of the visiting Victory Rock Blue Devils, their sixth straight victory to improve to 9-1 on the year.

The 13th ranked Bucs came out firing early on, getting a three pointer from Jonathan Dos Anjos on their first possession to give them a lead they would never relinquish.  Jaden Campbell drove the length of the floor and glided down the lane for a one handed slam to put the Bucs up 15-9 at the 16:00 mark and they held Victory Rock without a field goal for the next four minutes to balloon their lead to 25-10. CJ Jackson grabbed a rebound and raced up the floor for an easy two to make it 30-14 FSW at the midway mark of the half and Kaiyem Cleary kept the Bucs well out in front with a steal and slam with 5:33 to go as the FSW continued to hold a big lead at 44-29.  The Bucs went up by as many as 19 late in the half before settling for a 55-39 advantage at the break.

Victory Rock showed a little bit of fight early in the second, trimming the Bucs lead to a dozen, but FSW quickly answered as Terry Roberts found Modibo Sanogo on an alley oop to put the Bucs back up 16.  A kick out from Roberts to Campbell gave the Bucs their first 20 point lead of the night at 67-47 and they continued to push, scoring the next eight to blow the game wide open to 75-47 with 12:19 to go.  The Blue Devils never threatened again as FSW pushed the lead to 30 on a jumper from Klein Alexandre before coasting to a 93-65 win.

The Bucs shot 52% from the floor in the win.  Campbell put together another big performance with 23 points in just 18 minutes while Sanogo had 14 points and 7 rebounds for FSW.

The win is the sixth straight for the Bucs who improve to 9-1 on the year.

FSW is back in action on Saturday when they start the second round of Southern Conference play when they host Palm Beach in a 4:30 tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
