Michelson begins his first season as Pitching Coach for the Bucs in 2023-2024.  

Michelson enters the coaching ranks after a successful career at both the NJCAA and NCAA Division I levels. 

Michelson played his final two seasons at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he pitched in 31 games, notching a 4.17 ERA with 6 saves and 40 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched.  As a senior Michelson saw action against a number of power five opponents including Clemson, Virginia Tech, and South Carolina.  

As an NJCAA athlete Michelson made two stops, beginning his career at Chattahoochee Valley where he threw in 17 games as a freshman before transferring to Central Florida where he was 5-1 with 3 saves while posting a 1.82 ERA in 21 games for the Patriots.
