PALATKA, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers fell behind 5-1 against the #14 Florence-Darlington Stingers Saturday afternoon in a soggy Palatka, before the skies opened up once again to force the suspension of the game which will continue Sunday at 10:00 AM in the 4th inning.

The Bucs got out to a quick 1-0 lead as red hot Derek Williams drove home Michael McAloose with an RBI single to left, but Florence-Darlington answered with a run in the 2nd to tie it up at 1 and then pushed across two each in the 3rd and the 4th before the suspension to take a 5-1 lead.

The game will resume Sunday with the Stingers batting with runners on the corners and nobody out in the top of the 4th inning.

Once the Bucs and Stingers wrap things up, FSW will take on East Georgia State to wrap up the weekend.
