FORT MYERS, Fla.- Jordan Campbell hadn't had an at bat in three weeks for the #15 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers before drawing the start against ASA Miami on Saturday.  You would have never known it.  Campbell went 3-4 with a homer, a triple, and six RBIs, missing the cycle by just a double as the Bucs blew out the Silver Storm 20-8 to improve to 29-10 on the year.

You wouldn't know by the final score, but things actually didn't start well for the Bucs who fell behind 4-0 after just two innings of play as ASA Miami jumped on FSW for four in the 2nd to take the early lead.

The Bucs scored for the first time in the game in the bottom of the inning on an ASA error before Christian Lucio launched his seventh homer of the year way over the right field bleachers for a two run shot to make it a 4-3 game.

FSW tied the score on a bases loaded walk by Jordon Campbell in the 4th and took their first lead of the day on a sacrifice fly from Warnner Rincones later in the inning to make it 5-4.

Another sac fly, this one off the bat of Luis Tuero, made it a 6-4 game in the 5th.

The Bucs blew the game open in the 6th, scoring seven times, highlighted by a two run triple from Campbell and an RBI double from Abimelec Ortiz to give FSW a 13-4 lead.

They were back at it in the 7th, putting up six more as Campbell crushed his first career home run out to left center, a three run shot, to put an exclamation point on the big frame and to stretch the Bucs lead to 19-4.

ASA Miami didn't quit, scoring four times in the 8th, but it wasn't nearly enough as the Bucs went on to win 20-8 to sweep the season series from the Silver Storm.

The Bucs needed just 12 hits for their 20 runs, using four ASA errors and 11 free passes in the win. Campbell went off, going 3-4 with a single, a triple, a home run, and six RBIs to lead the way for FSW while Ortiz was 4-5 with two doubles and four runs scored for the Bucs in the middle of the order.  Six FSW pitchers worked in the win. Ronaldo Fernandez earned his first victory with FSW, going three scoreless frames, striking out four.  Daniel Vos, Riley Skeen, and Marc Davis all threw scoreless innings for the Bucs as well.

FSW improves to 29-10 on the year while ASA Miami Falls to 3-21.

The Bucs will take the field again on Wednesday when they host Elev8 Academy at City of Palms Park in Downtown Fort Myers.
