FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were planning on ringing in the new year in the Bayou later this week, but instead will be at home for the big night after seeing their two games in the Lake Charles New Year's Classic in Louisiana cancelled on Tuesday.  

 

The Bucs were scheduled to take on Kilgore in a Top 25 matchup on Friday before meeting Odessa in a rematch of an FSW win in Suncoast Arena two weeks ago.  Both games have been cancelled and will not be made up.  

 

FSW will now see action next on January 8th when they host Hillsborough in their 2022 Southern Conference opener at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers.
