FSW Unanimous #1 in Week 13 National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained the #1 team in the land for a fifth straight week on Monday, picking up a pair of wins over #10 Indian River to keep their pole position in the Week 13 NJCAA National Rankings.

The Bucs went 2-0 last week, picking up two wins over #10 Indian River to improve to 40-3 on the year. FSW rolls into the postseason on a 23 game winning streak with their last loss coming nearly two months ago on March 5th

The top five in the rankings remained unchanged this week with FSW continuing their run at #1, followed by Salt Lake, Butler, Howard, and Central Florida to round out the top five.  There wasn't much movement overall in the poll as Chattanooga State was the only team to go up more than one spot while Vernon was the biggest faller of the week, dropping to #17.

The Bucs will begin their quest for a State Championship on Friday when they travel to Longwood to compete in the FCSAA State Tournament.  The Bucs opening draw will pit them against Miami Dade in a 10 AM start Friday morning from Soldier's Creek Park.
