Bucs Climb Back Into Nation's Top 10

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Riding a seven game winning streak, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are back in the Top 10 of the NJCAA National Rankings, checking in at #10 in the week six poll.

The Bucs are red hot, having won seven straight to move to 10-1 on the year.  They haven't just been squeaking by either.  During their seven game win streak, the Bucs have won by an average 23.7 points per game including four straight by 16 or more.

Despite a number of teams losing, there wasn't too much noticeable movement in the top half of the rankings.  South Plains and Coffeyville remained at #1 and #2 while Odessa, Mineral Area, and Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa slid up to round out the top five.  FSW is one of three ranked FCSAA squads in the week six poll, with Tallahassee leading the group at #9, one spot in front of the Bucs, while Chipola moves up four spots to #20.

The Bucs are back in action at home on Tuesday when they host 212 Prep Academy in a 7:30 PM tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
