Bucs Head Into Postseason Ranked 11th

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will march into the 2021 postseason as the #11 ranked team in the land as announced by the NJCAA National Office Monday afternoon. 

The Bucs are 42-14 on the year, setting a new program record for wins in a season even before the start of the postseason.  FSW went 23-7 in Suncoast Conference play to win their second straight league title by a full four games .

FSW was one of just four teams to hold their spot in the poll from a week ago.  Wabash Valley and Walters State remained #1 and #2 while Central Arizona moved up two spots to #3, San Jacinto dropped a spot to #4, and Iowa Western entered the top five at #5.  Johnson County was this week's biggest riser, moving up three spots to #7 while Eastern Oklahoma and Chipola both dropped four spots to #13 and #18 respectively and Miami Dade jumped back into the poll at #20.

The Bucs are back in action on Wednesday when they begin the FCSAA State Tournament in Lakeland with a matchup against Indian River at 10 AM.
