Sophomore (2020): Alcantara comes to FSW after spending two seasons at the University of Colorado where she played in all 20 matches for the Buffaloes last season, drawing 13 starts in Pac-12 play.  She finished the season third on the team with 2.11 kills per set, racking up 152 in her 20 matches played. She started the season on fire, putting up 55 kills in the Buffs first four matches of the season including a season high 16 against Oregon State and 29 in back to back wins over Cal.  

Freshman (2019): Alcantara played in 27 matches as a freshman, finishing third on the team with 2.04 kills per set. She picked up her first career kills against in state rival Colorado State and put together her first double digit kill effort against USC in mid October.  She would add six more 10+ kill performances before the end of her rookie season including a career high 22 against Arizona and 19 against Cal in Pac-12 action.  

High School: Alcantara prepped at Tampa Catholic where she was an Under Armour All-American and ranked as one of the top 100 recruits in the country by PrepVolleyball.com.  During her senior campaign, she finished off 321 kills for the Crusaders and hit .344, finishing in the top five in the state in both categories.  

Personal: Born January 11, 2001, she is the daughter of Robert and Ilina Alcantara.  Volleyball comes quite natural to her as her mother played for the Dominican Republic National Team.
