Tollie To Team Up With Sister at Delaware State Next Season

FORT MYERS, Fla.- From the Sunshine State, to the First State, Florida SouthWestern sophomore Tyshonne Tollie has officially signed to play at Delaware State University next season where she will team up with her sister BriShonne for the final two seasons of her collegiate career.

Tollie was a two time All-Conference performer for the Bucs the past two seasons.  She played in all 46 games during her time in Fort Myers, drawing 45 starts and averaging 7.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest during her career.  She scored in double figures 11 times this season for the Southern Conference Champion Buccaneers, putting up a career high 19 early in the season against St. Petersburg.  She also notched a pair of double-doubles on the season, both coming against Miami Dade in league play, the first an 11 point, 10 rebound performance, the second an 11 point, 12 rebound effort against the Sharks.

Tollie will join forces with her sister BriShonne next season after she transferred to Delaware State following three seasons at SMU.  The two will hope to be a part of a rebuild for the Hornets after DSU went winless this season in MEAC play. They will play for their former High School Coach, EC Hill, who led the pair at Montverde Academy before moving on to the Division I level.

Tollie is the second 2022 Buccaneer to sign at the Division I level, joining Sariana Rodriguez who signed with Florida International during the early signing period.
