Bucs Draw 4 Seed, Will Take On Chipola In First Round of State

NICEVILLE, Fla.- The #20 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have drawn the #4 seed for the upcoming NJCAA Region VIII/FCSAA State Tournament and will take on the defending Tournament Champion and #14 ranked Chipola Indians in the first round Thursday, March 3rd in Raider Arena in Niceville. 

The Southern Conference Champion Buccaneers are 21-5 on the year while Chipola, who was an at large selection for the tournament, is 22-7. 

The host Northwest Florida State Raiders picked up the top seed for the tournament followed by Eastern Florida at #2 and Gulf Coast State at #3.  Indian River was the #6 seed with Daytona and Hillsborough rounding out the draw. 

FSW and Chipola will go head to head at 9:00 (EST) Thursday with the winner advancing to Friday's semifinal round again slated for a 9:00 (EST) start.
