Taylor to Join Pride at Piedmont

FORT MYERS, Fla.- After helping the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a pair of Conference Championships in her two seasons in Fort Myers, sophomore Kyriaki Taylor will look to take her winning ways North with her to Georgia as she has signed to play at Piedmont University next season.

Taylor played in 16 games over the past two seasons for the Bucs, doing the bulk of her work on the glass where she averaged 3.0 rebounds per game for FSW during her career. Her most productive game as a Buc came in FSW's 2021 Southern Conference opener when she played a career high 30 minutes while pulling down a career best 8 rebounds and scoring a season high 4 points on 2 of 4 shooting.

She will join a Piedmont squad coming off of a 15-4 campaign in which they were undefeated in USA South Conference action.  The Lions are an NCAA Division III program located in Demorest, Georgia.

Taylor is the fourth Buc to sign at the next level, joining Patience Williams (South Florida), Sheslanie Laureano (George Washington), and A'Moni Waiters (Detroit-Mercy).
