Wright Named Assistant at Jacksonville State

After three successful seasons with the Florida SouthWestern State Women's Basketball program, Assistant Coach Rabun Wright has taken a position at Jacksonville State University.

Wright helped the Bucs to three straight conference championships from 2018-2021 and was on board for FSW's first two trips to the NJCAA National Tournament in 2019 and 2020.  Wright coached three NJCAA All-Americans with the Bucs and seven players moved onto NCAA Division I universities during her time in Fort Myers.  In 2020 she was a finalist for the World Exposure Report National Assistant Coach of the Year award.

She will join a Jacksonville State program in the midst of a move to the ASUN Conference in 2021-2022.  The Gamecocks finished this season 15-9 and 12-7 in their final season of Ohio Valley Conference play.

FSW Head Coach Dr. Jerald Ellis and the Bucs will return six players to the fold in 2021-2022 and will take the floor for the first time in early November.  Stay tuned to FSWBucs.com and @FSWBucs on social media for further updates on the FSW Women's Basketball program thoughout the summer.
