Bucs Enter Top 10 in Latest NJCAA Rankings

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern Women's Basketball team's rise in the NJCAA rankings continued on Tuesday, moving back into the top 10 for the first time since the week two poll at #9 in the organization's release on Tuesday.

The Bucs are in the midst of an 11 game winning streak, moving to 23-5 on the year after a win over Hillsborough Wednesday night in Tampa.  FSW has put up that record despite playing a challenging slate in 2019-2020, with nine ranked teams on their schedule, contributing to a national strength of schedule at 15.  The Bucs are 8-0 in Suncoast Conference play and will look to close out their second straight undefeated slate when they go on the road Saturday to take on #22 Eastern Florida State.

The week 14 poll saw some shakeup at the top with four top 10 teams losing last week.  Trinity Valley takes over the top spot this week with Western Nebraska moving up to #2 and previous #1 South Plains falling to #3, while Shelton State and Northwest Florida remain at #4 and #5.  Central Arizona, FSW, and New Mexico all moved up three spots to fill out the top 10.

The Bucs are back at home one last time on Wednesday when they host Impact Academy on Sophomore Night in a 5:30 tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
