FORT MYERS, FLA.- Fans of the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are cordially invited to Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Monday to share in the suspense with the men's and women's basketball teams as they find out live whether or not they will be playing in their respective NJCAA National Tournaments next week.    

The Women's selection show is first at 11:00 AM where the Bucs will find out if their 29-3 record in 2018-2019 was good enough to secure one of the eight at large bids to go to Lubbock for the Big Dance.  FSW won 25 of their final 26 games of the year, defeating eight 20 win teams in the process for a school record 29 wins this season. 

The Men's selection show begins immediately afterwards at 12:30 PM where the Bucs are up against a loaded pool of candidates for the eight at large bids.  Seven of the top nine teams in the country and all of the top five failed to win their respective region tournaments, creating a back log of quality teams for the committee to choose from.  FSW spent the final six weeks of the season ranked #1 in the country, but dropped a one point heartbreaker to #8 Northwest Florida State in the Region VI Semifinals on Friday for their first loss of 2019. 

The selection shows will be played live on the videoboards in the arena.  These stressful moments for the coaches and players are when they need you the most Buc Nation, so come out and support the teams tomorrow morning as we all learn together of their end of the year fate!
