Bucs Head to Postseason Ranked #1

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Bucs are back on top of the NJCAA National Rankings and just in time for the postseason as the NJCAA announced their final rankings of the 2025 season and Florida SouthWestern found themselves squarely on top, just in time for the FCSAA Championships that begin on Wednesday.

The Bucs had a light schedule last week, playing just twice to close out the regular season.  They overmatched St. Petersburg in a Tuesday doubleheader sweep, taking it to the Titans 9-3 in game one before no-hitting them in game two in a 10-0 victory.

FSW closes the regular season on a 10 game winning streak and with a 49-5 record, winning the Citrus Conference by three full games with a 35-5 mark.

The Bucs jump back into the top spot in a swap with McLennan who replaced FSW at #2.  Northwest Florida, Indian River, and Grayson once again rounded out the Top 5. The FCSAA was well represented in the final poll with the Bucs, Raiders, and Pioneers all in the Top 5 with Seminole State at #6, Miami Dade at #11, Santa Fe at #15 and then Eastern Florida, Daytona, and Chipola all in the Top 25 as well.

The Bucs are back in action on Wednesday when they take on the winner of the Miami Dade/Gulf Coast State Wild Card Game at the FCSAA Championships in Clearwater.
