Freshman (2022): Velasquez saw action in 22 games for the NJCAA National Champions, hitting .304 with five RBIs and six runs scored on the season.  She had her first career multi-hit game in the Bucs' Paradise Cove Tournament against Lake Land when she went 2-2 with a double and two runs scored. Velasquez was honored for  her work in the classroom throughout the year, making her way onto both the FCSAA and Suncoast Conference All-Academic Teams.  

Fall (2021): Velasquez transfered to FSW after spending the fall at Ave Maria University. 

High School: Velasquez played at Wharton High School in Tampa where she was a four year letterwinner and a 2nd Team All-Conference pick as a senior when she hit .333 8 extra base hits and 12 RBIs.  

Personal: Born February 6, 2003, she is the daughter of David & Michele Velasquez.  She has two younger sisters, Madisyn (16) and Mia (10).
