YUMA, Az.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers will be the #3 seed at the NJCAA National Tournament which begins next Tuesday, May 25th in Yuma, Arizona. The Bucs drew the tournament's 3 seed as announced by the National Office Thursday and will take on #14 seed Central Alabama at 4:00 PM (MST) in their tournament opener.
The Bucs head to the desert 44-4 and as the South Atlantic District B Champions after a 10-3 win over #12 Indian River in the title game on May 10th. They will take on a Central Alabama squad that is 43-13 on the year and is representing the Mid-Atlantic District. Along with the Bucs and Trojans in the quadrant are the #6 seeded Seminole State Trojans and the #11 seed Odessa Wranglers. The winners of the two games will take on each other on Wednesday again at 4:00 PM (MST) while the losers will match up at Noon (MST) Wednesday in an elimination game.
