17-2 Bucs Remain 3rd in National Poll
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- A split with #2 Central Florida Friday in a battle of NJCAA titans was good enough to keep the Florida SouthWestern State Softball team at #3 in the NJCAA National Polls released on Monday.

The Bucs sit at 17-2 on the year after the split with the Patriots.  The Bucs have wins on the year against #2 Central Florida and #4 Chipola while their two losses came to the 2nd ranked Patriots and #7 Salt Lake.

The week four poll was dominated by teams from the Sunshine State with Central Florida at #2, FSW at #3, Chipola at #4, Indian River at #9, and Seminole State at #10.  FCSAA squads represented 60% of the top five and 50% of the top 10.

FSW has a busy week ahead at home at City of Palms Park as they host Kalamazoo Valley Tuesday, Miami Dade Wednesday, and Lincoln Trail on Thursday in a six game in three day stretch in Downtown Fort Myers.
