Bucs' Roberts Inks With Bradley

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern All-State guard Terry Roberts has made his decision for the next two years of his basketball and academic career as he will be headed to the Midwest to play for Bradley University after signing his National Letter of Intent on Friday to play for the Braves.

Roberts was one of the top two way players in the country this season, filling up the stat sheet with 15.0 points, 5.7 assists, 4.8 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game as a sophomore.  He scored in double figures in 20 of the Bucs 23 games this season, including a career high 35 points on 14 of 19 shooting against Hillsborough late in the season. He was one of just two players nationally this season to average 2.5 or more steals per game and 0.8 blocks of more per night.  He finishes his FSW career as the all-time steals leader with 122 while ranking third in assists with 214 and eighth in scoring with 524 points.  In two seasons with the Bucs, Roberts helped lead FSW to a 47-7 overall record.

He will join a Bradley program coming off of two Missouri Valley Conference Championships in the past three seasons. This year the Braves were up and down, finishing 12-16 overall and 6-12 in conference action, falling in the first round of the MVC Tournament to Southern Illinois.

Roberts is the first member of the FSW class of 2021 to sign their National LOI at the Division I level with the others expected to follow suit shortly.
