Bucs Hang In Final Spot in National Top 25

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Despite a tough week on the court, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers hung in the NJCAA Top 25 Rankings in the final spot as announced by the National Office on Monday. 

The Bucs were 0-2 last week to drop to 16-4 overall, losing a three point shootout with #22 Indian River 98-95 and a grinding 71-70 contest Saturday on the road at Miami Dade

South Plains and Mineral Area, with a combined 36-0 record remained at #1 and #2 in the poll while Odessa, Shelton State and Coffeyville filled out the Top 5.  The Bucs were one of four FSCAA teams in the Top 25 this week with Chipola leading the pack at #9, Tallahassee at #14, Indian River at #17, and FSW at #25. 

The Bucs are back in action in their regular season finale tonight as they host State College of Florida on Sophomore Night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena at 7 PM.
