TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- After leading the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a 29-2 record and a #1 National Ranking for the final six weeks of the season, FSW sophomore guard Keon Ellis has been named an All-State selection by the FCSAA.

Ellis finished fourth in the state in scoring in 2019-2020, putting up 18.1 a game while shooting 54% from the field which was the highest of any of the top seven scorers in the state.  He hit on north of 40% of his three point attempts this season which ranked ninth in the state among players who attempts more than four threes per game and he shot 81% from the free throw line which also ranked in the top 10.  Ellis topped the 20 point mark 10 times this season including a school record 41 in the Bucs' Suncoast Conference opener against St. Petersburg. A model of consistency, Ellis scored in double figures in 29 of 32 games for the Bucs this season including in the final 28 games of the year.

Ellis' impressive list of awards this season include FCSAA All-State, Suncoast Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Suncoast, and an FCSAA Player of the Week nod in late January.

Ellis will now be considered for NJCAA All-American honors which will be released later this month.
