Bucs Continue Climb in NJCAA Poll, Now #2
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers keep winning and keep climbing in the NJCAA National Rankings, moving up to #2 in Monday's week eight poll.

FSW has won 12 straight dating back to November 22nd and sit at 19-1 on the season after 20 games.  Not many of the Bucs games have been close either, as 17 of 20 wins have come by double digits.  Last week the Bucs rolled to two more victories, running away from Hillsborough in Suncoast Conference action 95-77 on Wednesday before blowing out Victory Rock Prep 110-61 Saturday night at home.

There was some shakeup in the week eight poll as top ranked Vincennes lost and fell to #9, pushing everyone else in the top 10, including the Bucs, up one spot.  Ranger is the new #1 with 390 points, with FSW right on their heels with 385.  The rest of the top five in week eight was Mineral Area, Indian Hills, and Pearl River.  Two other teams from the Sunshine State found themselves in this week's rankings including Tallahassee at #10 and Central Florida at #14.

FSW is back in action on Wednesday in a big conference battle when they host State College of Florida, who received three votes in this week's poll, at 7:30 in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
