FSW Sticks at #3 in NJCAA Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The top three teams in the NJCAA Top 25 Poll remained the same in the first poll of the regular season Monday, which kept the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers solid at #3 with their 4-0 early season record.

The Bucs have yet to be challenged through four contests with their average margin of victory coming in at 29.8 points per game.  A balanced Bucs attack has averaged 85.5 points per game thus far while their defense has remained stiff, allowing just 56.3 points per game while holding opponents to just 33.8% shooting on the year.

Vincennes and Ranger remained #1 and #2 in front of FSW while Indian Hills and Chipola moved up two spots to round out the top five.  Five FCSAA teams are spotted inside the top 25 while 10 different Florida squads received votes towards the poll in week one.

FSW is back in action on Tuesday night when they host fellow undefeated Miami Dade in a 7 PM tip from Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
