Galvan Inks with Keiser

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern righthander Danny Galvan has signed to continue his career at Keiser University next season.

Galvan pitched in eight games for the Bucs in 2020, drawing a pair of starts.  He logged 15 innings, working to the tune of a 4.80 ERA with 13 strikeouts on the year.  He finished the season 2-0, earning his victories over #3 Walters State and St. Johns River. He will transfer to Keiser with four years still to play.

Keiser was off to a hot start to the season before COVID-19 ended it abruptly. The Seahawks were 19-6-1 on the year and ranked 15th in the latest NAIA National Rankings.  Perennially one of the top teams in the country, Keiser has averaged over 38 wins per season in the last five complete campaigns.

Including Galvan, the Buccaneers have now sent eight sophomores off of their 2020 squad to the next level, running Head Coach Ben Bizier's total to 21 over the past two years.
