Bryson Signs With Sharks

FORT MYERS, Fla.- After helping the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to back to back Southern Conference Championships, sophomore Tashun Bryson has inked her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Long Island University next season. 

Bryson played in 41 games for the Bucs the past two seasons, drawing 16 starts and averaging 5.5 points and 4.6 rebounds during her career. She was a 2nd Team All-Conference selection in 2021 for FSW putting up 6.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per night, scoring a career high 14 late in the season against DME Academy and pulling down double digit rebounds on three occasions including a 10 point, 10 rebound double-double against Palm Beach.

LIU was 9-18 a season ago and reached the Northeast Conference Tournament with a 9-9 record in league play. 

Bryson is the third NCAA Division I signee for the Bucs this season, joining Sariana Rodriguez (Florida International) and Tyshonne Tollie (Delaware State).
