FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida SouthWestern State Women's Basketball program will be hosting a virtual 5K race over the next three weeks, both helping Southwest Florida stay active and healthy while also fundraising for their 2020-2021 season.
With races and athletic gatherings being cancelled all over the region, the Bucs want to invite you, your family, and friends to run with them, virtually in a fun spirited competition with great perks! Participants can choose any day from now until September 7th to run their 5K which can take place on the road, in the park, on a treadmill, or even in your back yard. Anywhere! Participants will then report their time to FSW staff which will make a virtual leaderboard to see where you stack up.
For just a $25 registration fee, participants will revieve an FSW T-Shirt, free admission to the Bucs' 2021 home opener, as well as a printable race bib for the event.
