FORT MYERS, Fla.- The #14 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers led 44-4 after one quarter of play and 76-5 at halftime in route to a 107-15 win Wednesday night againts Elite Sports Prep Academy.

This one was never a contest as FSW scored just 10 seconds into the game and led 18-0 before the Fighting Foxes' first points of the game at the 5:45 mark of the first.  The Bucs later went on to score the final 23 points of the quarter, taking a dominating 44-4 lead after one quarter of action.

It was more of the same in the second quarter, but arguably even more one sided in favor of the Bucs.  FSW held Elite without a field goal for the entire quarter, allowing just a single point on a free throw with 1:09 to go in the period.  At the break, the score couldn't have been much more lopsided as the Bucs led it 76-5.

FSW shot 65% as a team in the half, while holding Elite to just two field goals and 6% shooting.  All 12 Bucs who dressed in the game scored in the half led by Ta'Shonna Wright-Gaskins with 12 and Za'Nautica Downs with 11.

The Bucs called the dogs off as the second half started, scoring just 13 points in the third quarter to take an 89-9 lead after three.

The Bucs bench took it home from there as they hit the century mark with a bucket from A'Moni Waiters with 4:03 to go before mercifully finishing the Foxes off 107-15 at the final horn.

FSW's second half numbers actually weren't the prettiest as they shot just 38% from the field and didn't hit a three in seven chances.  Overall the Bucs shot 53% from the field while Elite shot 11% and was 0-20 from three point land.  Wright-Gaskins just missed out on a triple-double, going for a game high 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 blocked shots in the win. Waiters scored a career high 16 to go along with 7 rebounds while Zairea Hannah scored 9 and had a game high 13 boards for the Bucs.

The Bucs win their fourth straight to improve to 16-4 on the year while Elite falls to 0-7 against NJCAA opponents this season.

The competition will ramp up just a bit for the Bucs their next time out as they hit the road for a crucial Suncoast Conference matchup with #24 Eastern Florida State in Melbourne on Saturday beginning at 2 PM.
