Bucs Glued in at #13 in National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The calendar keeps turning, the wins keep piling up, but unfortunately for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers, they are stuck at #13 in the NJCAA National Rankings as Tuesday the Bucs found themselves in a far too familiar place, at #13, for the sixth straight week.

There wasn't much movement all together in the poll this week as the top 25 teams from last week remained the top 25 this week.  There was some flip-flopping in the top 10 where Jones County moved up a spot to #4 and Northwest Florida State moved back into the top five in the final spot.  A loss to Tallahassee dropped Gulf Coast State from #4 to #7 while Chipola and Angelina traded spots at #8 and #9.  Numbers 13-21 remained exactly the same with FSW leading the pack with the final four spots seeing internal shuffling to round out the poll.

The Bucs are one of just three teams nationally with 25 wins, joining Harford and #1 South Plains with that distinction.  They are one of 10 teams with 20 or more wins against NJCAA Division I competition.

The 25-2 Bucs will play in front of their home crowd as Suncoast Conference Champions for the first time on Wednesday when they host Hillsborough in a 5:30 PM tip.
