36 Bucs, 4 Teams Honored By NJCAA For Academic Achievements
July 30, 2025It was a record breaking year in competition for the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers and a pretty good one in the classroom as well as 36 student-athletes and 4 Buccaneer teams were honored by the NJCAA during their annual Academic Awards release. -
FSW Sophomore Spotlight- Skylar Brennan- Illinois
July 23, 2025Florida SouthWestern sophomore Skylar Brennan is heading back to the Midwest after an outstanding career in the City of Palms, becoming the first Buccaneer since 2020 to sign with a Big 10 program, inking her Letter of Intent to play at the University of Illinois for the 2026 season.

July 21, 2025After playing 116 games the past two seasons for the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers, sophomore Kmari Williams will be headed across town to play at Florida Gulf Coast University next season after signing with the Eagles for her junior campaign.

July 16, 2025After helping the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers to over 100 wins the past two seasons, sophomore Nicole Edmiaston is moving onto the Division I level next season after signing with Stetson University to play for the Hatters in 2026.

May 21, 2025Despite being separated by nearly 1,500 miles, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and Butler Grizzlies have created quite a postseason history between them and chapter four was added to the tetralogy on Wednesday at the NJCAA World Series in Yuma, Arizona. It was a back and forth affair from the start with #1 FSW hanging on late, stranding the tying run at third base to end the game in a 7-6 victory over the #16 Grizzlies to advance to the winner's bracket semifinals at the tournament.

Bucs Use Big Comeback For Opening Round Win
May 20, 2025The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers found themselves in an unfamiliar position Tuesday afternoon in their opening game of the 2025 NJCAA World Series, in fact a position that they haven't been in at any point in time during the 2025 season. The Bucs fell behind #24 Crowder 5-0 right away and eventually faced a 7-0 deficit in the 4th inning, their biggest hole of the season, before roaring back with 11 runs in the final three innings to win 11-8 and avoid the upset.
