Bucs Back In Top 25 To Start New Year
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Winners of 9 of their last 10, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers reentered the NJCAA Top 25 at #25 to begin the new year on Monday.

The Bucs improved to 10-4 overall on the season on Monday with a blowout win over South Georgia Tech. The win was the ninth in ten outings for FSW with their lone defeat coming at the hands of #1 Chipola at the buzzer in mid-December.

There was some shifting at the top of the poll in week seven with Chipola taking over the top spot and Southern Idaho sliding up to #2.  Odessa, Salt Lake, and Indian Hills, all one loss teams, round out the top five.  FSW is one of five FCSAA squads in the Top 25 this week with Chipola leading the way, Tallahassee at #6, Daytona State at #19, and Northwest Florida tied with the Bucs at #25.

FSW is back in action Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 in Suncoast Arena when they take on North Florida Prep in their final tune-up before Southern Conference begins Saturday at home against Indian River.
