Archer Inks With Radford

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The list of Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers at the Division I level grew by one on Wednesday as forward Justin Archer signed with Radford University where he will suit up for the Highlanders for the 2022-2023 season.

Archer played in 17 games, drawing six starts for the Bucs this season, averaging 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 66% from the field.  He started the season red hot, putting up a season high 27 points on a school record 13-14 shooting in FSW's opener against Victory Rock and backed that up with 16 and 12 point performances against Santa Fe and St. Petersburg.  Unfortunately Archer's momentum was derailed by a nagging injury, but he did come back later in the season to aid the Bucs run into the Region Tournament, scoring 17 points on 8-10 shooting in a blowout win over State College of Florida.

Archer will join a Radford program coming off of an 11-18 campaign which saw them go 7-9 in Big South play.  The Highlanders advanced to the Conference Tournament where they dropped their first round matchup with North Carolina A&T 78-71 in overtime.

Archer is the second FSW sophomore to sign at the Division I level this season, joining fellow front court mate Jonathan Dos Anjos who inked with UTEP in the early signing period.
