FSW Sits Steady at #3 in National Poll

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained ranked #3 in the country on Monday as the first NJCAA Top 25 Poll of 2020 was released.

The Bucs have won 10 straight and sit at 17-1 with their only setback an overtime loss to Snow in mid-November.  FSW is 3-0 since the last poll, defeating Oakton, Delta, and St. Petersburg by an average of 21 points per game during the stretch.

There was quite a bit of movement in the week eight poll with Vincennes and Ranger flip flopping spots atop the poll and Mineral Area making their first appearance in the top five with their 18-0 record.  Central Florida made a big leap up the poll from #25 to #16 while Jayhawk foes Hutchinson and Cowley each tumbled seven spots to #12 and #20 repectively after upset losses on Saturday.

The Bucs are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Tampa for a 7:30 PM tip against Hillsborough before returning home to take on Victory Rock Prep Saturday at 4 PM in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
