    Head Coach Marty Richter and the Florida SouthWestern State College men's basketball team will hold walk-on tryouts on Sunday, August 27 (9 a.m.) at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.
  • Four #FSWMBB Student-Athletes Invited to Mullen’s JC Top 100 Camp
    July 20, 2017
    FSW men’s basketball rising sophomores Tyler Cheese, Shanquan Hemphill, Anthony Murphy and Tremell Murphy have been invited to Mullen’s JC Top 100 Camp, a premier invitation-only showcase of some of the nations’ top junior college basketball prospects. FSW is one of two JUCOs in the country (Eastern Florida) to have four players invited to the camp.

    The Florida SouthWestern State College men’s basketball team had six student-athletes receive postseason accolades. FSW was represented on the Suncoast Conference’s First Team by Tremell Murphy, Anthony Murphy and Nych Smith. The Purple and Aqua garnered a trio of Second Team selections as Shanquan Hemphill, Ed Porter and Tyler Cheese received postseason accolades.

The Buccaneers will face nationally-ranked Northwest Florida State College (No. 3) at 6 p.m. on Thursday night.

    The FSW men's basketball team forced 27 turnovers and held the opposition to just 32.8 percent (21-of-64) shooting from the field, en route to a 71-64 win over St. Petersburg on Monday night at Suncoast Credit Union Arena. With the win, the Buccaneers improve to 19-5 on the season (5-1 Suncoast Conference) and move into a tie for first place in the Suncoast Conference with St. Pete, while the Titans fall to 17-6 (5-1 Suncoast Conference) on the year.
