High School: Pasternack attended IMG Academy in Bradenton where he missed his senior year due to an injury. In his two seasons with the Ascenders varsity squad he hit .365 while going a perfect 50 for 50 in defensive chances.  

Personal: Born May 6, 2006, he is the son of Allyson and Les Pasternack who played a season of professional Baseball for the Rhode Island Tigersharks in 1996. He has a younger sister, Skylar (12).
