Brantley Inks With Aggies
FORT MYERS, Fla.- After a short stay in Fort Myers, Florida SouthWestern's Cameran Brantley is headed back to the NCAA Division I level, signing with North Carolina A&T on Tuesday to play his final three seasons in Greensboro with the Aggies.

Brantley played in 24 games for the Buccaneers in 2020 after transferring in from North Carolina last fall.  He hit .244 with two home runs and 11 RBIs while swiping seven bases in eight chances on the year. He had five multi-hit games on the year including a pair of three hit contests. He was 3-5 with a double, a home run, and four RBIs in a win over ASA Miami early in the season and was 3-3 with a pair of RBIs and four runs scored in a Suncoast Conference win over Hillsborough in what proved to be the Bucs' final series of the year.

Brantley will join a North Carolina A&T squad that was 7-10 in 2020.  Without a champion crowned in this years' Covid shortened season, Brantley and the Aggies will head into 2021 as the defending champs in the MEAC South after going 16-8 to claim the crown during the 2019 campaign.

Brantley is the 18th NCAA Division I signee for FSW over the past two seasons.  He joins 2020 teammates Tommy Joseph and Mason Adams (Jacksonville), Marc Davis (Pittsburgh), Connor Bagnieski (Radford), and Warnner Rincones (Eckerd) to sign to move on from this years' class.
