Bucs 3rd in Florida Dominated National Rankings
CHARLOTTE, N.C.- If the week five NJCAA National Poll stays true, this year's FCSAA Tournament is going to be one for the ages as Monday, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers Softball team found themselves ranked #3 for the fifth straight week in a poll that included five Sunshine State teams in the top seven.

FSW is 23-2 on the year after six straight dominating wins last week. The Bucs outscored their opponents 68-11 last week, scoring those 68 runs in just 27 offensive innings. The Bucs have the only win of the season against #1 Central Florida while also collecting wins over #4 Chipola and #20 Southern Idaho.  Their only losses of the year are against the top ranked Patriots and #12 Salt Lake.

Florida holds five of the top seven spots in the week five rankings including Central Florida at #1, FSW at #3, Chipola at #4, Indian River at #6, and Seminole State at #7.  Sandwiched inbetween those squads are #2 Seminole State and #5 Tyler.

The Bucs are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Davie to take on Broward for a non-conference doubleheader before beginning Suncoast Conference play on Saturday with a single game on the road at South Florida State.
