Allen, begins his sixth year as the Bucs' Sports Information Director in 2023-2024.  Along with media relations, his responsibilities include maintaining FSWBucs.com, FSW social media pages, statistics and record keeping, as well as a number of other things inside the Bucs Athletics Department.

The 2022-2023 athletic year was a magical one for Allen and the Bucs as FSW boasted a number of unmatchable achievements.  The year started with the FSW Volleyball team capturing their first NJCAA National Championship in program history, going 27-1 overall and a perfect 6-0 in postseason play, dropping just one set along the way. In the winter, Allen watched as more FSW Men's Basketball players took the Division I stage than any other school in the country while former player Keon Ellis made his NBA debut for the Sacramento Kings, another program first. The year finished with the Bucs Softball team winning their third straight NJCAA National Championship and the FSW Baseball team having three players selected in the Major League Baseball Draft, the only program in the country to say that.  In June FSW had a Nation high 10 student-athletes named to the CSC All-District Academic Team followed by a pair of Bucs being named CSC Academic All-Americans, once again, the only school in the country to have that accomplishment.

With Allen's digital strategy, FSW social media pages were seen by over 500,000 unique users last year with the Bucs overall follower count on those platforms raising by over 20% during the year.

Allen promoted seven NJCAA All-Americans in 2021-2022 and also had two of his student-athletes named CoSIDA Academic All-American, the only school in the country to boast those two things.  For his efforts, Allen was named the 2022 2YSIDA National Sports Information Director of the Year.

In 2020-2021 Allen was recognized with the most 2YSIDA design awards of any SID in the country, earning the top spot for his game notes and poster schedule in the country as well as earning runner up for his gameday graphics.

In five seasons with FSW, Allen has been along for the ride of unprecedented success.  In all five years, the Bucs have had the highest overall winning percentage in the state of Florida and two of the years in the entire NJCAA. Allen has been on board for 16 conference championships and 10 trips to the NJCAA National Tournament in five years including back to back to back NJCAA National Championships for the Bucs Softball Team in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and the FSW Volleyball Team's title in 2022. He has helped promote three NJCAA National Players of the Year as well as four NJCAA National Coaches of the Year.

He has helped promote 164 All-Conference, 55 All-State, and 29 NJCAA All-Americans as well as 17 Conference Players of the Year.  In 2020, Allen helped promote softball player Owen Bowers to the prestigious CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American award, making her the first student-athlete in FSW history to earn the award.  One year later fellow softball player Alyssa O'Donnell was named the CoSIDA Academic All-American Team Member of the Year, as the top student-athlete in the country.  Overall, seven FSW student-athletes have earned CoSIDA Academic All-American honors in the past four years, the most of any school in the country.

An active member of CSC (College Sports Communicators) for more than 10 years, Allen served for four years on the publication awards committee as well as voting on a number of different regional and national awards that the group gives out.  In 2014 he became the first President of 2YSIDA and held that role until he was announced as the Athletic Director at Seward County CC in May of 2017 and was once again elected as President in 2022 for a three year term. Along with his President's role with 2YSIDA, Allen also serves as the Chair of the FCSAA Sports Information Committee and on the CSC Advisory Committee, as well as the FCSAA Player of the Week committee, helping recognize student-athletes in Baseball, Softball, Basketball, and Volleyball from around the state for their accomplishments.

Prior to joining the Bucs, Allen spent nine years as SID and one as Athletic Director at Seward County CC in Kansas as well as a stint at Florida Gulf Coast University where he handled Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Baseball, and Men's Tennis.

In nine years as the SID at Seward County, Allen helped promote over 200 All-Conference athletes, 140 All-Region performers, 220 KJCCC Player of the Weeks, 35 NJCAA National Player of the Weeks, and 25 All-Americans.

In 2017 Allen was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association as the National winner of the Grant Berger Media Award given to the two year SID who members felt displayed the most dedication to the promotion of the sport.  In 2013, Allen received his first major national award, netting CoSIDA's 'Second in the Nation' award for his work on the Saints Baseball Media Guide.

In 2013 he helped promote a pair of Seward student-athletes to Capital One Academic All-American awards,  the first time in school history that the Saints had placed a student-athlete on the list.  His two selections were the only junior college student-athletes in the country to receive the awards.

In his one year as Athletic Director at Seward, the Saints saw great success, winning four Jayhawk Conference Championships and three Region VI Championships, while two more teams reached the Region VI Championship game.

As a student-athlete, Allen made three stops during his collegiate playing career, at Colby CC, Lamar CC, and the University of Northern Colorado. He helped UNC to two straight Division I Independent Championships and was on the mound in his final collegiate game as the Bears defeated North Dakota State to capture the title in 2006.  Northern Colorado defeated #2 Nebraska, #7 Arkansas, #19 Wichita State, and #24 Kansas during Allen's stint in Greeley.  Allen finished his senior season at UNC with the lowest ERA at the school since the 1986 season.

Following his playing career, Allen joined the coaching ranks at his alma mater.   He helped guide the Bears in 2006-2007 and was a member of the Colorado Sox summer baseball coaching staff in 2007 and then again in 2009.  In 2009 Allen coached the Sox to an 11th place finish at the NBC World Series.  Upon completion of his Sox season, Allen joined the Liberal BeeJays coaching staff and was a part of their 3rd place National finish.   During his three seasons of coaching, Allen coached 13 players that signed professional baseball contracts.

Originally from Lakewood, Colorado, Allen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and minors in Communications and Economics.  He and his wife Thais, who is the Head Volleyball Coach for the Bucs, were married in 2012 and live in Cape Coral with their dogs Kai and Ace.
