Balykov Joins Bucs as Head Athletic Trainer
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern State Athletic Director George Sanders has announced that the Bucs have hired Andre Balykov as their new Head Athletic Trainer. 
 
Balykov spent the past four years as the Head Athletic Trainer at Canterbury School where he was part of the Cougars two Baseball State Titles (2017 & 2018).  Additionally, he was involved in the Cougars' back-to-back (2019 & 2020) SSAC football conferences championships.  Prior to his stay at Canterbury, Balykov was the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Ave Maria University primarily focusing on football. 
 
Balykov grew up in Southwest Florida and received his Bachelor's in Athletic Training from Florida Gulf Coast University.  He then attended the Concordia University of Chicago graduating with a Master's in Sports Nutrition.  He brings additional experience through his continued certifications as a strength and conditioning specialist, sports nutritionist, human movement specialist, and instrument assistant soft tissue mobilization technician.
