BOSTON, Mass.- The Florida SouthWestern State Athletics Department is mourning the loss of one of their own today as Friday, the Bucs lost their beloved Athletic Trainer Rhonda Julian after a long and valiant battle with cancer.

"Rhonda was such a beautiful soul" FSW Athletic Director George Sanders said.  "She was always so positive and caring and truly loved FSW and our student-athletes.  Rhonda had an infectious smile and will be greatly missed by us all. Our thoughts go out to her daughter Jada as well as all of her family and friends" he continued.

Julian was in her second year at FSW, after starting her full time duties in the summer of 2018.  Before the latest bout, Julian had already beaten cancer two other times before coming on board with the Bucs.  A 2008 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, Julian was 36. She is survived by her 12 year old daughter Jada.
